Held every year since 1959, the
“Rallye Barcelona Sitges vintage car” event anticipates a rather interesting agenda. Seize the opportunity to escape to Sitges, a marvelous Mediterranean town with great charm just 45 minutes from Barcelona. And if you stay in Barcelona, ??enjoy the experience with these options:
- Illa Diagonal Exhibition Until Saturday, April 6th, L’illa Diagonal hosts the traditional vintage car exhibition in the inner hall of the shopping center. Three participating vehicles will be on display during the week to welcome the Rally. They are truly cinematic vehicles!
- Rally Departure from Plaza Sant Jaume, Sunday, April 7th at 10:30 am This will be the route for all participants! Departure of the Rally from Barcelona (Plaza Sant Jaume – Ferran – Ramblas – Plaza Cataluña – Ronda Universidad – Ronda Sant Antoni – Sepúlveda – Paralelo – Plaza España – Gran Via – Juncosa – Constitution), towards L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Santa Eulàlia – Enric Prat de la Riba – Barcelona), Cornellà de Llobregat (L’Hospitalet Road – Av. de la Fama – Tirso de Molina – Av. Baix Llobregat – Link with C-245), Sant Boi de Llobregat, Viladecans, Gavà, Castelldefels, link with C-246, Garraf Coast.
The arrival in Sitges is scheduled around 12:15 pm.
Entry into Sitges via Emerencia Roig Raventos, Plaça del Dr. Robert, Avinguda Balmins, Platja Sant Sebastià, Rafael Llopart, Sant Damià, Santiago Rusiñol, Carrer Jesus, Cap de la Vila, Carrer de les Parellades, Marquès de Montroig, Plaça Indústria, 1st of May, Passeig de la Ribera, to Avinguda Sofia, walk on land to PicNic, walk along the land to the Fragata.
And the cars will be on display until approximately 5:30 pm. Seize this day to immerse yourself in history through our antique and emblematic cars! Ahh! And besides, the occupants usually dress in period attire, so colorfulness and glamour are ensured.
“Stroll with a Hat” on La Rambla de Catalunya

Celebrate the arrival of spring in style in Barcelona with the Stroll with a Hat! It’s time to bring out your most elegant or extravagant hats and join the “Passejada amb Barret” to welcome the new season! Organized by the talented hat designers Cristina de Prada and Nina Pawlowsky, supported by the Association of Hatmakers, this unique event began in 2005 and has since grown in popularity, inspiring similar events worldwide!
What started as a rather intimate gathering in its first edition soon became a popular celebration that transcended borders, even reaching some foreign cities that have copied the idea.
Additionally, this year is especially important as the 20th edition will be celebrated next Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 12 noon. The meeting point is the Rambla de Catalunya, right in front of the Coqueta Giraffe (corner of Av. Diagonal), and we will head towards Plaza Catalunya in a parade full of style and fun.
As we pass by the Hotel Continental Palacete, on Rambla Catalunya 30, we will stop to take photos at our entrance, lobby, and on our century-old balcony overlooking the Rambla, one of the most elegant streets in our city.
