This year is 50th anniversary of the Picasso Museum‘s inauguration in Barcelona. Until 9 March, they show three documentary exhibitions where you can appreciate the history of the Museum. The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is the center of reference for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso and also have a collection of 4,249 works making up the permanent collection.
From Hotel Continental in Barcelona you can take a pleasant walk to the Born district, where you will find the Picasso Museum, occupying five large mansions or palaces in Montcada Street.
