Barcelona en agosto: jardines con encanto cerca de nuestros hoteles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Barcelona esconde m\u00e1s de 140 parques y jardines que aportan vida, espacios abiertos y un respiro al ritmo urbano. Desde peque\u00f1os rincones escondidos hasta grandes extensiones verdes, estos lugares act\u00faan como verdaderos pulmones en muchos barrios de la ciudad. En verano, y especialmente en agosto, se convierten en oasis ideales para disfrutar de la naturaleza, la historia y la tranquilidad sin alejarse del centro. Por eso, desde el Hotel Continental Barcelona<\/strong> y el Hotel Continental Palacete<\/strong>, queremos invitarle a redescubrir algunos de los jardines m\u00e1s bellos y apreciados de Barcelona, todos accesibles a pie o con un breve trayecto en transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Jardines de Rubi\u00f3 i Lluch<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Situados en el emblem\u00e1tico recinto del antiguo Hospital de la Santa Creu \u2014que entre 1401 y 1926 fue el hospital general de la ciudad\u2014, estos jardines combinan historia y serenidad. Dan acceso a instituciones dedicadas al conocimiento, como la Biblioteca de Catalunya, el Institut d\u2019Estudis Catalans y la Real Academia de Medicina de Catalunya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              7. Hivernacle del Parque de la Ciutadella<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              A pesar de haber estado en desuso en varias ocasiones a lo largo de su historia, el invernadero de la Ciutadella ha vivido etapas muy activas: exposiciones de canaricultura, muestras de animales de granja y setas, un bar-restaurante en los a\u00f1os 90 e incluso conciertos con gradas instaladas en su interior. A finales de 2023 fue rehabilitado siguiendo el modelo original de 1888.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Cuando lo visite, levante la vista y observe los detalles de la fachada: motivos florales y vegetales creados por el modernista catal\u00e1n Alexander Riqu\u00e9. En sus naves \u2014la Picasso y la Magn\u00f2lies\u2014 encontrar\u00e1 especies singulares, como un \u00e1rbol de papayas, pi\u00f1as poco comunes en la \u00e9poca o la imponente Alocasia, capaz de producir hojas de hasta 5 metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
