Una nueva edici\u00f3n de rutas por los hoteles m\u00e1s singulares de nuestra ciudad <\/strong><\/h2>\n

El Hotel Continental Palacete se convirti\u00f3 en Hotel Monumento en 2018<\/a>. Esta iniciativa, promovida por el Gremio de Hoteles de Barcelona, tiene el prop\u00f3sito de poner en valor\u00a0 \u00a0aquellos establecimientos hoteleros que por su patrimonio arquitect\u00f3nico, su singularidad, sus obres de arte y su historia vinculada a Barcelona y al sector hotelero, merecen una distinci\u00f3n especial.<\/p>\n

Una ruta para disfrutar del arte, la arquitectura, la gastronom\u00eda y la cocteler\u00eda <\/strong><\/h2>\n

En esta publicaci\u00f3n<\/a> de la conocido revista \u201cTime Out\u201d podr\u00e1s descubrir los 20 hoteles Monumento de Barcelona. Disfruta del ambiente maravilloso que ofrecen estos hoteles y revive \u00e9pocas pasadas y de ensue\u00f1o, mientras compartes una cena o una copa en buena compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

En el caso del Hotel Continental Palacete la ruta est\u00e1 programada para el 23 de noviembre en los horarios: 18.30-19-19.30-20h. Es necesario enviar una petici\u00f3n a palacete@hotelcontinental.com y recibir\u00e1 un correo de confirmaci\u00f3n (plazas limitadas a 15 personas por sesi\u00f3n).<\/p>\n

La riqueza arquitect\u00f3nica y art\u00edstica del Hotel Continental Palacete <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Las caracter\u00edsticas arquitect\u00f3nicas del hotel son sin duda, uno de los elementos m\u00e1s valorados por el Gremio de hoteles de Barcelona para otorgar esta distinci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

1863 fue el a\u00f1o en que se construy\u00f3 el edificio que alberga el Hotel Continental Palacete. Lo m\u00e1s espectacular y caracter\u00edstico son la conservaci\u00f3n de sus salones originales al m\u00e1s puro Versalles Luis XV, que fueron totalmente restaurados antes de abrir el hotel en el a\u00f1o 2002. Tambi\u00e9n podemos encontrar elementos t\u00edpicos del\u00a0Modernismo catal\u00e1n<\/a>\u00a0que desarroll\u00f3 nuevos conceptos arquitect\u00f3nicos basados en la naturaleza como los estucados con formas florales en muchos de los altos techos de las habitaciones exteriores.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, en el hotel se encuentran dos piezas espectaculares que provienen del legado familiar. Una l\u00e1mpara de ara\u00f1a espectacular que corona el sal\u00f3n Centenario, con unas dimensiones de metro y medio de di\u00e1metro por dos metros de alto y un armario de 3 metros de altura modernista y de caoba adquirido por la familia Vallet Arnau en la Exposici\u00f3n Universal de Par\u00eds de 1889.<\/p>\n

Un ejemplo de ello, es la aspiraci\u00f3n centralizada que evita el peso de la aspiradora y facilita la limpieza de una forma muy significativa.<\/p>\n
