Tan s\u00f3lo tiene 19 bonitas. Todas ellas renovadas, muy confortables y bien equipadas. En una ordinaria visita al dentista, mientras estaba en la salita de espera, oje\u00f3 La Vanguardia, el peri\u00f3dico de mayor tirada de nuestra ciudad, all\u00ed fue donde descubri\u00f3 un anuncio de p\u00e1gina completa que rezaba \u201cpalacete en venta\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Inmediatamente se dio cuenta de que se trataba de un sue\u00f1o\u2026 y fue a por \u00e9l. Una vez visit\u00f3 la mansi\u00f3n, pudo imaginar el gran potencial para transformarla en un hotel \u00fanico y exclusivo en plena Rambla de Catalunya.<\/p>\n<p>Y as\u00ed el sue\u00f1o se convirti\u00f3 en realidad. Despu\u00e9s de casi 4 a\u00f1os de esfuerzos gigantes, obras de reforma y varias dificultades administrativas\u2026, en 2002 se inaugur\u00f3 el Hotel Continental Palacete que hoy se ha convertido en uno de los Hoteles-Monumento m\u00e1s conocidos de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Reubicaci\u00f3n y antecedentes hist\u00f3ricos<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El edifcio del Hotel Continental Palacete fue construido originalmente en Paseo de gracia en 1863. Con la creaci\u00f3n del Eixample del Pla Cerd\u00e1, la casa\u00a0impedia el paso por la calle Diputaci\u00f3 y por ese motivo, en 1892, fue desmontada piedra a piedra y reconstruida en Rambla de Catalunya donde\u00a0se encuentra actualmente.
