Recordando Mayo 2020: ya han pasado 3 a\u00f1os!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fue en la madrugada del domingo 31 de mayo de 2020 cuando un autocar ondeando la bandera india vino a recoger a las 4 de la ma\u00f1ana a los 23 tripulantes que quedaron varados en nuestro hotel durante el estado de alarma. Se los llevaron al aeropuerto de Madrid y de ah\u00ed, rumbo Mumbai: su ansiado hogar, tras 71 noches alojados en nuestro Hotel Continental Palacete.<\/p>\n

En este post queremos rendirles de nuevo homenaje y recordar aquellos d\u00edas dif\u00edciles que, afortunadamente, acabaron con un final feliz. Aqu\u00ed<\/a> encontrar\u00e1s el post que publicamos en este momento.<\/p>\n

\"Hotel<\/p>\n

Parece que fue ayer y ya han pasado 3 a\u00f1os! <\/strong><\/p>\n

As\u00ed, estos d\u00edas recordamos con cari\u00f1o a este grupo, miembros de la tripulaci\u00f3n de un crucero de Pullmantur que tuvo que quedarse forzosamente en Barcelona cuando, justo\u00a0 el d\u00eda que ten\u00edan prevista su salida hacia la India, el espacio a\u00e9reo del pa\u00eds qued\u00f3 totalmente cerrado.<\/p>\n

Afortunadamente para todos, el Continental Palacete hab\u00eda permanecido abierto como hotel de guardia junto a otros cuatro establecimientos de la ciudad. Este grupo fue una bendici\u00f3n para nosotros pues nos permitieron una cierta \u201cnormalidad\u201d de funcionamiento y una compa\u00f1\u00eda que hizo pasar los d\u00edas de una forma algo m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil.<\/p>\n

Oficialmente reconocidos como \u201cNuestro R\u00e9cord Mundial de Larga Estancia\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mi hermano Jos\u00e9 Maria Malagarriga, director y tambi\u00e9n copropietario del hotel, les dirigi\u00f3 a cada uno de ellos una carta de agradecimiento. En ella se les reconoc\u00eda oficialmente el \u201cR\u00e9cord Mundial de Larga Estancia\u201d en nuestro hotel. Tambi\u00e9n les daba la gracias, en nombre de todo el equipo del hotel, por la paciencia, la educaci\u00f3n y el saber estar durante esos 71 d\u00edas y sus noches sin salir pr\u00e1cticamente del hotel.<\/p>\n

\u201cHomenaje a nuestra estimada clientela de India confinada\u201d: la entrevista que disip\u00f3 el miedo <\/strong><\/p>\n

Yo, Pili Malagarriga, como redactora de algunos de los posts de Hotel Continental, y miembro de la familia propietaria, se me ocurri\u00f3 proponer al grupo que respondieran algunas preguntas sobre su situaci\u00f3n: c\u00f3mo estaban viviendo el momento, sus sentimientos, preocupaciones, anhelos\u2026 El resultado fue todo un \u00e9xito, pues supuso un acercamiento entre el grupo y el equipo del hotel. Recordemos que eran momentos de miedo a los contagios, a lo desconocido, con una enorme incertidumbre\u2026 El hecho de que todo el mundo leyera esa entrevista origin\u00f3 un acercamiento y una mayor empat\u00eda entre grupo y equipo, humanizando a\u00fan m\u00e1s la extra\u00f1a situaci\u00f3n que est\u00e1bamos viviendo.<\/p>\n
