Don\u2019t worry, there are other nature spots besides Park Guell and Parc de la Ciutadella. Autumn is one of our favorites seasons to discover Barcelona city parks, when all the red, oranges, and browns spread around the city and the ground is covered by leaf rugs. If you want to hide from the big crowds, read our Definitive Barcelona Park\u2019s Guide!<\/p>\n

Joan Brossa Gardens<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you plan to go up to Montju\u00efc<\/a> (and surely you should), take a stroll to Joan Brossa Gardens. Located on the hill and next to other city attractions such as Castell de Montju\u00efc<\/a>, these gardens have also a piece of history in the city. This was the location of the famous Montju\u00efc Amusement Park over 30 years. The park closed in 1998, but now the place is a large green space, covered with typical Mediterranean plants. If you have a sunny day you will enjoy great views of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

TIP: If you go with kids, they will love the playground areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Horta Labyrinth Park <\/strong><\/p>\n

This historical park, located in the Horta-Guinard\u00f3 district, is the oldest garden in the city. Get inside the enormous vegetal labyrinth while you listen to the birds and touch the walls made by cypress trees. If you don\u2019t find the exit, don\u2019t worry, go to the middle of the labyrinth and ask to Eros sculpture. The park is now under maintenance tasks, but will open again the 30th<\/sup> of November. Get lost in this neoclassical garden!<\/p>\n

TIP: If you go on Sundays or Wednesdays, the entrance is free (although during the week the general fee is 2.23\u20ac).<\/strong><\/p>\n

El Tur\u00f3 del Putxet Gardens <\/strong><\/p>\n

Tur\u00f3 del Putxet Gardens<\/a> is a great place to enjoy amazing views of the city. This lovely park, located in the Putxet i el Farr\u00f3 district, is a hidden gem with a lot of plants species. We recommend climbing some steps and make it to the top, where you will enjoy amazing views of the city. While it is not crowded, you will find the peace and silent you don\u2019t have in other viewing spots attractions of the city like Carmen Bunkers or G\u00fcell Park. Worth the visit if you are looking for a park off the beaten track!<\/p>\n

TIP: Take it easy with the steps. There are a lot, so take a breath before (and some water with you!)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Collserola <\/strong><\/p>\n

Collserola massif watches all Barcelona Metropolitan Area and has been the testimony of the changes of the city for the past decades. Its proximity to Barcelona makes it the perfect nature escape. The Serra de Collserola Natural Park spreads over all the metropolitan area, so depending on the time you want to dedicate to it, you can choose different options. One of them is to go with Ferrocarril train until Baixador de Vallvidrera stop, or take the whole day and go walking to Sant Cugat del Vall\u00e8s.\u00a0 However, if you don\u2019t have plenty of time for an excursion, you can walk until Carretera de les Aig\u00fces to see beautiful Barcelona views or spend the day in the historical Tibidabo Amusement Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n
