La Mercè is the festivity of Barcelona that is celebrated since 1871 every 24th of september on the occasion of the feast of Virgin of Merced, patroness of the city. This year La Mercè will fill the city with activities 22, 23 and 24th September.
Three very intense days with nearly 1000 activities: concerts, music, fireworks and examples of Catalan culture as human towers, “gegants”, “capgrossos” or “bestiaris”.
From among all the activities of the Mercè program we must highlight the concerts that are part of BAM music festival (Barcelona Accio Musical) organized by the Barcelona City Council. On 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 September the city will be filled with free scenarios where you can enjoy of the best atmosphere and the best music.
