HOTEL CONTINENTAL PALACETE AWARDED BY BANC SABADELL IN FITUR26 EDITION
Within the framework of FITUR26, Banco Sabadell has awarded Hotel Continental Palacete with a prize at the 1st edition of the Recognition of Values in the Tourism Sector 2026, in acknowledgment of its contribution to promoting culture as a link between residents and visitors.
This recognition highlights the project “Intimate Sessions”, a cultural initiative created with the aim of fostering local culture, supporting local artists, and creating spaces for authentic connection between those staying at the hotel and people with whom we maintain a close and meaningful relationship: family, team members, friends, neighbours, suppliers…
During the award ceremony, Alex Jarandilla, Director of the Tourism Business Division at Banco Sabadell, underlined the value of this cultural proposal, stating verbatim:
“Initiatives such as the Intimate Sessions at Hotel Continental Palacete show that culture can become a true meeting point between residents and visitors, generating positive, close relationships aligned with a values-driven tourism model.”
Intimate Sessions: culture, closeness and shared hospitality
The Intimate Sessions are free cultural gatherings, conceived in an intimate and welcoming format, to which both hotel guests and people from our immediate environment with whom there is a prior connection are invited. These are not indiscriminately open events, but carefully curated encounters designed to share music, conversation and emotions in a warm and respectful atmosphere.
As part of the experience, all attendees are offered “Cuvée Privée” Hotel Continental cava, bottled under the hotel’s own label, Brut Nature Reserva, as an expression of hospitality rooted in attention to detail, quality and care for what is authentic.
As José María Malagarriga Vallet, General Manager of Hotel Continental Palacete, member of the owning family and creator of the initiative, points out:
“This is an award for a project that was born to create culture, highlight local artists and build a meeting point between residents and visitors, brought together by music. Heartfelt thanks to all the artists who are part of these sessions and to everyone who has experienced them with us. This is yours too.”
