[:en]Only seventy-two hours after the professional 84th Rallye Monte-Carlo, the Historique Rally Monte-Carlo is back again from 27th January to 3rd February. As a 19th edition and concocted by organizing committee of Automobile Club of Monaco our Barcelona happens to be one more time a kick start city.

This year and in line with the last one, all competitors will be given the chance to participate within the three already known averages (low, intermediary and high). Again, for this edition it is respected the last year indispensable requirement for the very participation of all racers: driving a car model which competed in Rally Monte-Carlo from 1955 to 1980.

It is an inescapable event when it takes only 5 minutes walking distance from our Continental Hotels to the podium that will be installed in the Avenida de la Catedral of Barcelona facing the street Dr. Joaquim Pou. From there, on Friday 29th January at 7pm dozens of antique cars will start the Historique Rally Monte-Carlo off, along with the other cities involved: Oslo, Glasgow, Bad Homburg and Reims.

After their long journey, the 300 expected competitors will meet up on Saturday 30th January from 10.10am at the heart of the Gorges and Lakes of Verdon, in Saint-André-les-Alpes. From then on they will compete between two villages of character Roquesteron and Bouyon (18.83 km) in the valley of Estéron.

Let’s enjoy these journeys whether you are in Barcelona or somewhere else and let’s stop by a very special Final leg (47km) between two communes of southeastern France: Lantosque and Lucéram.
