The district of Sarrià – Sant Gervasi will be filled with the sound of opera from 6 to 18 May as part of the International Opera Day celebrations. All activities are free of charge.
It will be the second edition of the ‘Opera en Route’ . Various activities have been scheduled in eleven of the district’s public amenities and at the Teatre de Sarrià. Every day except Sunday, you can enjoy live opera, exhibitions, courses, conferences, storytelling and a journey through the works of Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi, coinciding with the bicentenary celebrations of the birth of both composers.

El distrito de Sarrià-Sant Gervasi se llenará de ópera del 6 al 18 de mayo, con motivo del Día Internacional de la Ópera. Todas las actividades serán gratuitas.
Se han programado varias actividades, todas gratuitas, en once equipamientos públicos del distrito y en el Teatro de Sarrià. Excepto los domingos, cada día se podrá disfrutar de ópera en directo, exposiciones, cursos, conferencias, cuentos y recorridos por las obras de Richard Wagner y Giusseppe Verdi, coincidiendo con el bicentenario del nacimiento de los dos compositores.
De entre todas las actividades queremos destacar los itinerarios ‘Opera en Ruta’. Visita guiada por diferentes lugares del Distrito de Sarrià – Sant Gervasi con la ópera como hilo conductor. Podrás ver como la ópera nos rodea en los más pequeños detalles sin darse cuenta de ello. Una original forma de conocer más este género.
