The European most unique motor revival is celebrating its 5th edition this weekend in Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit.

During the next 17^th, 18^th and 19^th April Espíritu de Monjuïc (the Spirit of Monjuïc) invites you once again to a magical step back in time, mounted on your classic car or not. You will be able to relive a time when racing meant much more than just to power and step on the gas pedal. For both parents and children, the Montjuïc circuit -a former street circuit located on the Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona- was considered among the best Formula One circuits of all time where young and old experienced very dramatic scenes when pilots were challenging the sinuosity of its track at speeds that really made someone get the willies.

This is precisely the feeling wanted to regain during the three days of the event: a jump to a fuel perfumed air time, in which “the Magic Mountain” –as they liked to name the circuit- has been now moved to the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit for one more year. Therefore, all who were not able to experience it fully are given for a whole weekend a golden era of races and the world that existed around it.

El más consolidado revival del motor único en Europa celebra su 5ª edición este fin de semana en el Circuito de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Durante los próximos 17, 18 y 19 de abril, Espíritu de Monjuïc os invita una vez más a dar un paso mágico hacia el pasado, montados en vuestro clásico o no. Y a revivir una época en qué las carreras significaban algo más que un encendido y puesta a punto. Para padres e hijos, el trazado de Monjuïc era el escenario de momentos inquietantes cuando los pilotos de antaño desafiaban el sinuoso circuito a velocidades que realmente erizaban la piel.

Precisamente éste es el sentimiento que pretenden recuperar durante las tres jornadas del evento: un salto hacia un tiempo en que el aire olía a combustible, en que la “Montaña Mágica”, como gustaba denominar al circuito de Monjuïc, el cual ya hace casi cuarenta años que el bramido de los motores dejó de formar parte del paisaje, era el punto de encuentro de familias y amigos; en definitiva el Circuito de Barcelona-Catalunya prepara un año más una manera de mostrar a los que no lo vivieron en directo, cómo era un fin de semana de carreras y el ambiente alrededor de ellas.
