Staged at Barcelona’s L’Auditori, the International Percussion Festival of Catalonia is dedicated to the humble triangle, booming bass drum and everything in between. Performers from all over the world showcase their skills in both traditional and more unusual percussion instruments.
The International Percussion Festival of Catalonia has reached its seventh edition and has done so by bringing to the Auditori an array of artists, dancers and composers from different locations and of very different styles, but all with one common denominator: a rhythm in which percussion is the main player.
The festival includes performances such as:
African rhythms of Camut Band & Djilandiang, traditional instruments of the Spanish region, Euska Herria thanks to Iñaki Plaza and Ion Garmendia, tap dance of the Tap Olé Company Afrocuban fusion jazz, flamenco jazz és Muslim musica of Horacio “El Negro”, Javier Colina and José Luis Gutiérrez.

Puesta en escena en L’Auditori de Barcelona, el Festival Internacional de Percusión de Cataluña se dedica al triángulo humilde, y todo lo demás. Artistas de todas partes del mundo muestran sus habilidades con instrumentos de percusión tradicionales y de lo más inusuales.
El Festival Internacional de Percusión de Cataluña ha llegado a su séptima edición y lo ha hecho por trayendo a L’Auditori una gran variedad de artistas, bailarines y compositores de diferentes lugares y de estilos muy diferentes, pero todas con un denominador común: un ritmo en el que la percusión es el actor principal.
