There’s just less than a week to go until the 55th Barcelona-Sitges Vintage Car Rally gets under way. During the weekend of 2nd and 3rd March you will be able to enjoy all the action. The Sitges Tourist Boardhas been organizing this major event for historic vehicles for 55 years and has made it an unmissable date on the calendar. Some 70 cars that will be taking part in this year’s rally will be on display outside the Illa Diagonal shopping centre on Saturday 2nd until mid-afternoon. All the vehicles were built before 1928.
On Sunday 3rd, the cars will depart from the Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona and pass through the main streets of the Catalan capital on route for Sitges. The rally will take in different towns in the Baix Llobregat and Costes del Garraf and stop off in the Port d’Aiguadolç from where the cars will begin their parade through the streets of Sitges.
